3 YEARS

Cognitive: Avoids hot items when warned, compares things (bigger or shorter), tells story from book or video, understands location words, pretends to spell

Communication: Conversation (at least 2 back and forth), who/what/where/why questions, says all syllables in a word

Dressing/Toileting: Potty trained, undress, put on pullover shirt with little assistance, put on shoes and socks, button large buttons, zip zipper once engaged, distinguish front and back

Fine motor: Draw a circle, draw cross, cut across page

Gross motor: Catch a ball, pedals tricycle, stand on one foot, walk up stairs with alternating feet

Social/Emotional: Calms down easily after separation, plays with other children, shares/takes turns, empathy
