Cognitive: Tries using switches/knobs/buttons, plays with multiple toys at once, points to identified objects, pretend play, simple problem solving, 2-step instructions, knows colors
Communication: Wave/point, blow kiss, name things when asked, says name, word combinations with occasionally repeating (“baby, baby, baby sit down”), use some plural words, add -ing or -ed, asks why or how
Dressing/Toileting: Pulls pants down, take off jackets, locate armholes, help put on socks/shoes, unbutton large buttons
Feeding: Uses fork and spoon, chews all foods including tougher textures without gagging or choking
Most crunchy, hard or mixed texture foods, milk, water
Fine motor: Hold something in one hand while using the other, twists things, turns pages one at a time, imitate vertical lines, string beads, snip scissors
Gross motor: Run, walk up stairs, jump with both feet, kick a ball, tiptoes
Social/Emotional: Notices when others are hurt/upset, looks for reaction in new situation, parallel, tantrums, copies others, excited around other children
Visual: Matches colors, looks for pictures in familiar books
